We like to congratulate members of the Cavalry 92 Black Ivory Washington and Chris Brown for signing National Letters of Intent with Central Christian College in Kansas! 
Tri-County Soccer Club and Harker Heights P&R held their first annual 3v3 Live Soccer Tour National Tournament on Saturday January 17th 2009 at Summit Field Soccer Complex. The tournament brought teams of age 7 to adult to Central Texas to qualify for Winter Nationals event held in Round Rock, TX the weekend of Jan. 31st- Feb. 1st. The event was a big hit for the players who participated in mini soccer games with arousing applause from the crowd of fans and parents.
The event showcased local and surrounding Central Texas soccer teams in the one day tournament with teams traveling as far as Brownwood , TX . The teams ranged from recreational to competitive players competing for a spot in the National Tournament. The crowd enjoyed a spectacular day of competition as players engaged in an atmosphere conducive for great soccer while showing respect to their teammates, competitors and fans during wins and losses.

TCSC would like to give special thanks to Randy Ploeckelmann, Mark Zimmerman, Jaime Gay, Pat Christ and Jason Kucera for their efforts this weekend hosting the TCSC & Harker Heights Rec Coaches Training Day at Summit Field Saturday morning. Jason, HH Athletics Coordinator, hosted TCSC’s clinic to help develop their players as well as their coaches. Coach Gay invited the Harker Heights high school boys and girls soccer team members to demonstrate activities for the HH Rec players while Coach Ploeckelmann and Coach Zimmerman initiated training for the coaches. President of TCSC, Pat Christ, finished the session with a speech “it’s all about the kids”.

Tryouts for the Fall 2007 season are complete. We are always willing and interested in meeting new players interested in competitive soccer. As the website progresses, we would like to do something different for our membership. We are currently collecting digital pictures of our teams in action. The ideal picture is one with a group of players in it and zoomed in. Use the contacts page to email them to us. Check out our Image Gallery (top right tab on home page) You can page through the thumbnail photos. You can click on any thumbnail to see the full size picture. TCSC will never use any names of our players on our website. After all, a picture is worth a thousand words. We hope you enjoy it.

TCSC is looking for a few members who would like to become more active with our clubs activities. We currently need people to help us with the big task of making sure our teams are scheduled for fields and to help with the organizational challenge that follows a rained out game.
